The duties range from 30,4% to 48% and are the result of an investigation launched in February this year after a complaint from industry association European Aluminum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is noted that the import of semi-fabricated aluminium products from China to the European Union more than doubled in the last five years (2014-2019) and took market share away from European manufacturers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;The provisional duties on aluminium extrusions are expected to be imposed by October 15, and may have retroactive effect on the products imported from August 25, 2020.
